Dragonsmeade Anthracite

Marcus could be one of the most beautiful colts for 2011! He is extreme yet has type, and his neck and shoulder are ideal. We are so happy Pete and Sandy Hendrick chose Marcus to be a future horse for Sandy! We can’t wait to see Sandy show him! Until then, we’ll be cheering him on with trainer, David Rand, showing him!

Dragonsmeade Apres Moi

Madeline is refined and beautiful! Her neck is extremely long and her shoulder is correct. She could be one of the best fillies Beethoven has produced for our farm! We are so happy to have one more filly out of Donatella. Madeline had an amazing debut season in 2013.  She has a full sister on the ground, and a full brother due in 2014. We can’t wait to see Madeline under saddle for the 2015 show season!

Dragonsmeade Archetype

Henry is such a handsome horse!  We were so happy with this cross with Icon we repeated it and now have a full sister! Henry is smooth bodied and has correct confirmation.  He is big and stretchy, but he also has good Morgan type.  We are eager to see what he can do!

Dragonsmeade Aria

Since she is the full sister to three time World Champion Dragonsmeade Virtuoso we chose to keep Laney at the farm so she could have foals for us. She is out of the great producing foundation broodmare Queen’s Estelle and by our foundation breeding stallion Beethoven.  She had beautiful bay filly by Dragonsmeade Axios on May 10, 2013, and a bay colt by Dragonsmeade Icon for the 2014 foaling season. We are thrilled with both of these foals! She has already proven to be one of our best broodmares.

Dragonsmeade Art And Soul

This colt is handsome. James has a beautiful head, neck, and shoulder that is the perfect combination of his World Champion sire, Icon, of his grandsire, Beethoven, and his maternal grandsire, Trijas Mr. Pepperpot. He stands out as he marches through the field, and we are eager to see what he can do once he goes into training.

Dragonsmeade Augustana

We’ve waited a long time for another foal out of Vega, and we are so happy to have been able to cross her with our own 2010 World Champion Stallion Icon. Mary is the perfect combination of her dam, Hylee’s Vega, and Icon that we could not have asked for anything more. She is upheaded and has a beautiful trot.******SOLD*******

Dragonsmeade Axios

Along with his half brother, Icon,  Axios may be one of the best stallions we’ve bred. By multi World Champion And The Beat Goes On and out of multi World Champion HVK Obisidian, Axios is a dream cross. We have bred him to most of our top foundation brood mares.  This big stallion is extremely upheaded and has a dynamic park trot reminiscent of his sire And The Beat Goes On and his maternal grandsire HVK Bell Flaire. Axios is in training with Tim Roesink at Grove Pointe Stables. 2010 marked the year for his first foal crop, and his offspring are exotic and very upheaded.  Not only is he a dynamic show horse, Axios is proving to be an amazing producer….. we are thrilled with him!

Dragonsmeade Balenciaga

Patty is one of our favorite mares.  She has show horse attitude, and she will always been known in our family at “Princess Patty.”  Mike Carpenter started her and he and Stephen Longo have taken her on to win her multiple world championship and regional titles.  She has had a lovely filly, Dragonsmeade Wonderstruck, by And The Beat Goes On.  Patty is now at our farm getting ready to raise her own foals. Patty had a handsome colt by Axios in 2015. She is due to have another filly by And The Beat Goes On in 2016.

Dragonsmeade Beautiful Day

Jenny is out of one our top foundation brood mares and by our beloved And The Beat Goes On. She has beautiful Morgan type and she’s inherited her sire and dam’s beauty and talent. We showed her just a few times, and in the end, we decided she’d be best in our fields having foals for us. Jenny is due to have a filly by Icon in 2016 and a colt by Beethoven for the 2017 foaling season.
