And The Beat Goes On will be first remembered as one of the most successful horses ever to enter the ring in Oklahoma City. His six world championships in the Park Harness division will endure for generations to come. As successful as “Bud” was in the show ring, we are looking to even better things from his foals. Among his early progeny, Uppercase Innovation, Own The Night, DMH Back In Black, and Dragonsmeade Carnaros have already established themselves on the world champion stage. Dragonsmeade Axios and Dragonsmeade Big Night among others look to continue that legacy. His foals are unique and show every bit of drive and beauty their sire is known for.
Cavalli is the first foal out of this cross. Donny’s full brothers are World Champions Zanetti and Dragonsmeade Varvatos. He is an extraordinary western horse for Ling. He has Bocelli’s refinement and smooth body while also inheriting his dam’s gorgeous head. Ling and Donny have been very successful in the very competitive western divisions. Among the many regional titles they won the Reserve World title in the 2011 Western Pleasure Amateur class. We wish Leslie and her family all the best with Cavalli!
May Spot live on throught her offspring…. She is missed. 1992-2018
Our 2012 foal crop was a stellar year, and Jan is one of the best fillies born that year! She has size, presence, talent, and show horse attitude. Jan is very hot so we are so happy with how well she handled the show ring during the 2014 show season, and she won Reserve Futurity World Champion Park Harness Two Year Old! We can’t wait to see her under saddle for the 2015 show season! We wish lots of luck to the Johnson family at Arcola Farm!
Taylor is an extraordinary mare out of our world champion producer Donatella! She has size, quality, and she has strong, beautiful motion. We are thrilled Lora Lyons chose Taylor to be her future pleasure saddle horse. We can’t wait to cheer them on!
Marcus could be one of the most beautiful colts for 2011! He is extreme yet has type, and his neck and shoulder are ideal. We are so happy Pete and Sandy Hendrick chose Marcus to be a show horse for Sandy! We have loved every moment of watching Sandy show Marcus! What a pair!
Along with his half brother, Icon, Axios may be one of the best stallions we’ve bred. By multi World Champion And The Beat Goes On and out of multi World Champion HVK Obisidian, Axios is a dream cross. We have bred him to most of our top foundation brood mares. This big stallion is extremely upheaded and has a dynamic park trot reminiscent of his sire And The Beat Goes On and his maternal grandsire HVK Bell Flaire. Axios is in training with Tim Roesink at Grove Pointe Stables. 2010 marked the year for his first foal crop, and his offspring are exotic and very upheaded. Not only is he a dynamic show horse, Axios is proving to be an amazing producer….. we are thrilled with him!
Patty is one of our favorite mares. She has show horse attitude, and she will always been known in our family as “Princess Patty.” Mike Carpenter started her and he and Stephen Longo have taken her on to win her multiple world championship and regional titles. Patty is now at our farm raising her own foals. She had a lovely filly, Dragonsmeade Wonderstruck, by And The Beat Goes On. Patty had a handsome colt by Axios in 2015. She is due to have another filly by And The Beat Goes On in 2016, and a filly by Icon in 2017. Patty is due to have a colt by Icon in 2018.
Bell Song is an extraordinary mare. Bell Song won the 2002 $13,000 Futurity at Far West Regional with 16 quality yearlings competing. For her only appearance in 2003, she added a Reserve World Champion Futurity Two Year Old mare title to her record. Bell Song has now entered our foundation broodmare herd. She had a beautiful filly by Beethoven and two gorgeous fillies by Dragonsmeade Axios.
Bridget is the full sister to World Champions Dragonsmeade Fusion and Dragonsmeade’s Infusion. She is nearly identical in look and temperament. She’s already had a beautiful foal by the Hochstetler’s beautiful stallion Queens Glory Days! We wish them the best of luck!
