A Cappella has inherited the smooth lines and beauty that all of Beethoven’s progeny seem to get from their sire. A Cappella also has the dynamic motion and presence inherited from her dam. Simply Apropos is one of our proven foundation mares. She had a beautiful filly in 2008 by multi World Champion And The Beat Goes On. A Cappella had a beautiful brown filly by her side by Dragonsmeade Axios for 2010.

Abbey is the first foal from this cross. Her look is reminiscent of Mizrahi’s only full sister Donatella with her WC dam, Dragonsmeade Balenciaga, mixed in. Since she is the full sister to Synergy we are so excited to have foals out of her.  Her pedigree and her spunky attitude will be fun to cross with a number of stallions.  We crossed Abbey with Axios for 2022 and 2023 foals.

Becca is one of our dream crosses. She is very upheaded and beautiful. Donatella’s foals are all smart and spicy. This mare is no exception. We are anxious to continue with her important pedigree so we are planning on breeding her in the next few years.

Our 2012 foal crop was a stellar year, and Jan is one of the best fillies born that year!  She has size, presence, talent, and show horse attitude.  Jan is very hot so we are so happy with how well she handled the show ring during the 2014 show season, and she won Reserve Futurity World Champion Park Harness Two Year Old! We can’t wait to see her under saddle for the 2015 show season! We wish lots of luck to the Johnson family at Arcola Farm!

Quintessence is Obsidian’s youngest daughter by Mizrahi.  We were so excited to cross her to JW Standing Tall for the 2019 foaling season!  The resulting filly is everything we hoped for when we decided to make this cross.  Dani is refined with correct Morgan mare confirmation.  Her future looks bright!

Taylor is an extraordinary mare out of our world champion producer Donatella!  She has size, quality, and she has strong, beautiful motion.  We are thrilled the Lyon’s family chose Taylor for their granddaughter Sylvia Peterson!

When we bought HVK Dragon Fly at the Kohler Sale in 2000 she was in foal with Annalise.  We are thrilled to have another daughter out of our beloved Dragon Fly.  She has size, beauty, and correct length of leg and neck for the contemporary Morgan mare.  She has had incredibly beautiful foals for our farm.

Madeline is refined and beautiful! She could be one of the best fillies Beethoven has sired for our farm, and we are so grateful for one more daughter out of Donatella.  She has a gorgeous colt by Axios by her side for 2023.  Hunter and Spencer Pilot have leased Madeline for the 2024 breeding season!

Since she is the full sister to three time World Champion Dragonsmeade Virtuoso we chose to keep Laney at the farm so she could have foals for us. She is out of the great producing foundation broodmare Queen’s Estelle and by our foundation breeding stallion Beethoven.  Her first foal is the multi world champion Dragonsmeade Indochine, we have two full sisters, and she has had two colts by Vendome and Icon!  She is one of our most important foundation mares.

Patty is one of our favorite and important brood mares.  She has show horse attitude, and she has always been known in our family as “Princess Patty.”  Mike Carpenter trained her during her multiple world championship and regional grand champion show career.  She has proven herself beyond our expectations in the breeding shed.
