Dragonsmeade Wild Honey

Pearl is a lovely and refined chestnut filly! She has the beauty and contemporary round Morgan qualities her multi-World Champion sire and maternal grand sire seem to give their offspring, and she has the torque her grand dam gives to all of her descendants. Pearl is a perfect package!

Dragonsmeade Winning Colors

Winning Colors is a big and beautiful mare.  Her pedigree boasts all the best hallmarks that have come to define a Dragonsmeade bred horse, as well as the keen insight of breeder Mike Carpenter’s thoughtfulness and knowledge towards our breed.  She has given us a filly and a colt by mulit world champion Dragonsmeade Icon.  Her foals have all the best from their pedigrees.  We have a 2020 filly by mulity world champion Dragonsmeade Spectre who we can’t wait to see in the show ring!  Winning Colors will be sold with a breeding to Spectre for the 2022 breeding season.

Dragonsmeade Wisteria

Originally we sold Wisteria at one of our CopperDragon Sales.  We jumped at the opportunity to buy her back at another sale.  Her dam, Dragonsmeade By Design, is one of our best brood mares.  We are so happy to have her back on our farm!  Wisteria had a gorgeous black colt by Spectre in 2021!

Dragonsmeade Wonderstruck

Marie is the first foal out of multiple world champion Dragonsmeade Balenciaga.  She has quality and a lot of torque.  Her first foals have been our favorites!  Marie has quickly become one of our important foundation mares.  We are eager to cross her with a veriety of stallions.

Dragonsmeade Xs and Os

Tess is the second foal for us out of KJM First Lady. Since we liked her full brother, Dragonsmeade Paragon, we repeated the cross! She has the perfect combination of Icon and French Command traits. This filly has always had sparks to her eyes, and she definitely thinks a lot of herself!

Dragonsmeade Your Song

Odette is the first filly out of Dragonsmeade A Cappella produced for our farm.  Since she is by our multi-World Champion And The Beat Goes On and out of the proven matriarch line of Simply Apropos, we are thrilled to have Odette in our broodmare herd.  We are planning to breed her to World Champion Dragonsmeade Icon. She is due to have a colt by Icon in 2016.

Dragonsmeade’s High Drama

World Champion Cedar Creek Soliloquy was one of our favorite mares. She was a smart, dear mare with a lot of go. She produced just two special foals for us, a colt by And The Beat Goes On and High Drama. High Drama is an exotic mare with spice and a beautiful trot with bounce. Juliette has joined the broodmare band at our farm, and she had a beautiful black colt by And The Beat Goes On in 2012. Juliette has a beautiful colt by Dragonsmeade Axios for 2015. She had a beautiful black filly in 2016. High Dragma is expecting a filly by Dragonsmeade Vendome in 2018.

Dragonsmeade’s Infusion

When we repeated this cross in 2003 we prayed for a full sister to Fusion. Mia has far exceeded our expectations. She started out her show career with winning the 2007 World Champion Futurity Pleasure Driving Three Year Old and Reserve Champion Pleasure Driving Three Year Old. More recently, she won the 2013 World Champion Park Saddle Ladies class in OKC. For her next chapter as a broodmare Mia can be crossed to a variety of stallions.

HVK Clairvoyant

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to buy an HVK Hotspur daughter at the 2004 Kohler sale. Clairvoyant instantly became an asset to our program with her first foal.  Dragonsmeade Warlock was crowned the 2009  World Champion Futurity Park Saddle Three year Old.  Claire has also had two exceptional fillies by Dragonsmeade Axios for our farm.

HVK Nobelia

Leah is a gem. Besides her royal bloodlines she is also a dear mare. Leah looks very similar to her famous dam Nobelle. She has a large expressive eye and small muzzle. Leah’s first foal is our exceptional black colt Dragonsmeade Wait Til Dark.  In 2009 she had a gorgeous brown full brother to Wait Til Dark.  She had an exotic bay colt by Dragonsmeade Axios for 2010 by her side. Leah had a big bay colt by Axios on May 13, 2011.  Leah has another full brother for 2013 foaling season!
