And The Beat Goes On

Bud was a once and a lifetime horse.  He will always be missed.

Bred by Jim and Tracy Hangley, and trained during his show career by Bob Hughes and Rock Walker, Bud was a once in a lifetime Morgan.  In 1998 we watched him win his first class, the Three Year Old Park Harness, at the Morgan Medallion.  Bud exploded into the show world that day, and went on to win the World Champion Futurity Park Harness Three Year Old and the World Champion Park Harness Three Year Old. In 1999 he won the Amateur Park Harness as a four year old.  He went on to win nearly every park harness class he showed in.

To us, he was always the gangly, beautiful, superbly athletic goofball who would relax his way through warmups, then dazzle under the lights in the ring with an audience watching him.  He loved the crowd in the show ring, and in retirement he loved people watching him trot and flag his tail through his paddock.  A true Morgan show horse in every sense. Bud lives on through his progeny.

And The Dream Goes On

And The Dream Goes On is the dam of World Champion Futurity Two Year Old Pleasure Driving S/G Miyake. She has near perfect Morgan mare type with a beautiful head. We are excited to have a Beethoven colt due in 2011 out of her.  Dream had a gorgeous filly by Dragonsmeade Icon in 2012.  We are thrilled to have her in our broodmare band!

AWS Fruition

Isabelle and Ling put on numerous outstanding shows in the English Pleasure divisions.  We bought Isabelle from Ann Hailey in 2010 because we are impressed with this mare’s pedigree, elegance, and size.  Ling and Isabelle have won many regional and Grand National titles.  Isabelle had a beautiful filly by Dragonsmeade Icon in 2017.

Beethoven

Beethoven’s progeny have amassed many World Championships. He has been a proven producer of world champions in nearly every division in Oklahoma from multi-world champion Dragonsmeade CarnegieHall, RJMF Symphonic Music, Dragonsmeade Virtuoso, and Dragonsmeade Bravura in the English Pleasure, Pleasure Driving and In-Hand divisions, to Dragonsmeade Crescendo in the Hunter division. Beethoven’s daughters, such as Dragonsmeade Aria, have proven to be gems in the breeding shed when crossed to a variety of stallions.  He is terribly missed, but his blood lives on through his offspring in our fields.

Black Tie Debutante

Debutante is the dam of multi WC Dragonsmeade Carnegie Hall, multi WC Dragonsmeade Bravura, and their full sisters Dragonsmeade Tammany Hall and Dragonsmeade Farallon.  Evie is living the happy life on our farm.

Bocelli

This magnificent stallion is by Beethoven and out of the dam of Simply Maserati. Bocelli has left a very important mark on the Morgan breed and have bred our best mares to him, and in return, we have his daughters now having beautiful foals. His daughters immediately became some of our best brood mares on our farm.  He is enjoying retired stud life at our farm.

Cavalli

Cavalli is the first foal out of this cross.  Donny’s full brothers are World Champions Zanetti and Dragonsmeade Varvatos.   He is an extraordinary western horse for Ling.  He has Bocelli’s refinement and smooth body while also inheriting his dam’s gorgeous head.  Ling and Donny have been very successful in the very competitive western divisions. Among the many regional titles they won the Reserve World title in the 2011 Western Pleasure Amateur class. We wish Leslie and her family all the best with Cavalli!

CBMF Royal Treatment

We thank our dear friend Ann Hailey for the chance to have Liz in our breeding program! Her sire, Cy Dons Mr. Aristocrat has given Liz the torque we adore and her dam has given her the beauty we appreciate. We can’t wait to see her first foal by WC Dragonsmeade Icon in February 2015!

Cedar Creek Pirouette

Broodmare Hall Of Fame Inductee

Belle is forever missed. She will live on through her generations of offspring. 1991-2018

Christinia Dellarose

We bought Christinia Dellarose at the 2008 Signature Select Sale for a driving horse we could show out of Mike Carpenter Stables. After she won her qualifier at the 2008 Morgan Grand Nationals we sent her to the farm to join our broodmare herd. We crossed her with Dragonsmeade Axios, and her first foal is the outstanding Dragonsmeade Sea Dragon.  Her second foal is a beautiful 2012 filly named Dragonsmeade Sweet Emotion, and her third foal is 2014 filly Dragonsmeade Essence.  Toula proved to be one of our best foundation brood mares.
