Dragonsmeade Iconoclast

Following the success of his two champion and world champion brothers, Bro has big shoes to fill. We will be happy with whichever division he ends up being successful in. Regardless, he is handsome!

Dragonsmeade Idlewild

We made the difficult decision to sell Idlewild in our 2011 CopperDragon Sale, but we were given the opportunity to buy her back recently so we jumped at the chance.  She has size and beautiful Morgan mare type.  We are thrilled that Idlewild has a beautiful filly by multi World Champion Dragonsmeade Icon for 2014, and a filly by World Champion Dragonsmeade Axios for 2015. Amelia is due to have a colt by multi World Champion Dragonsmeade Vendome in 2018.

Dragonsmeade Idyll

We are blessed with two full sisters to Axios!  Arya is the youngest sister, and maybe the last foal from this successful cross between And The Beat Goes On and HVK Obsidian.  She is more similar to her sire in confirmation and type.  We are thrilled to have her carry on her blood in the future.

Dragonsmeade Indochine

The first foal we have out of Aria, by Axios, is Merida! She has a beautiful shoulder and a long length of leg and neck.  Her motion is crisp and clean. She is one of our favorite fillies from the 2013 foal crop! Merida’s head is the perfect combination of her grand sires And The Beat Goes On and Beethoven.  She won two world championship titles during her junior years and won the reserve world title in English pleasure ladies.  We are so happy to cheer for Kerriann and Merida!

Dragonsmeade Invictus

When one sees George it is clear he is the son of Dragonsmeade Icon.  He is smooth and curvy, yet he also has refined the bone all of BHOF HVK Obsidian’s progeny have.  Unfortunately, since George was injured as a yearling he was unable to show.  We are grateful he will remain on our farm living a happy life as a breeding stallion.  We are excited to see his get in 2024!

Dragonsmeade Jasmine

Blossom is a big, and stretchy mare that we are thrilled to have out of a few of our farm favorites, Dragonsmeade Axios and Dragonsmeade A Cappella.  Unfortunately, due to an injury to her foot she was not able to show. However, we are happy to be able to breed our pretty Blossom.  She had a big, flashy filly by Dressed Up GCH in 2022, and she is due to have a colt by Dragonsmeade Spectre in 2023.

Dragonsmeade Kept Secret

Katniss is the first filly out of one of our best broodmares, Dragonsmeade Ibarra. Her full brother, Dragonsmeade Dark ‘N Stormy, could be one of the best colts from the 2014 foal crop so we are excited to have a full sister. 2018 was a wonderful debut show season for Katniss! She placed third behind the big boys in the World Champion Two Year Old Futurity Park Harness class!

Dragonsmeade Kestrel

Kestrel’s dam, Dragonsmeade’s High Drama, is out of one our favorite mares, Cedar Creek Soliloquy. We are thrilled to have a daughter out of Soliloquy. High Drama’s first foal is the very talented park horse Dragonsmeade Onyx. Next we decided to cross High Drama to World Champion Park Harness Amateur stallion Dragonsmeade Axios. Kestrel is her second foal and he is exceptional! We are eager to see him mature.

Dragonsmeade Kirin

Kirin is an exotic big bay filly out of one of our newer mares MEM Bluelight.  We are happy with how well Blue crossed with our studs.  We now have a yearling colt and Kirin.  Kirin has smooth lines and correct confirmation.  Unfortunately, Kirin was injured in early training so she will be unable to have a show career. We will have her in our brood mare herd when she is old enough.
