We are so happy to have a full sister to Dragonsmeade Indochine!  Emily is almost identical as she trots through the fields with the rest of the 2018 girls.  We can’t wait to see her grow up!

Griffin launched his world championship career in 2021, sweeping both the Futurity and age-group in-hand classes. He kept the momentum going in 2022 by capturing World Championship titles in the Two-Year-Old Futurity Park Harness and In-Hand divisions, and continued his winning streak in 2023 by taking the Futurity Park Saddle Three-Year-Old title.

Beyond the show ring, Griffin’s legacy is already growing. Following a select breeding to our own mares in 2023, we are thrilled for the clients who chose him as their sire the last couple of years!

The 2023 season brought the exciting opportunity to cross our young homebred stallions with our own premier homebred mares. High on our list was crossing the multi-World Champion, Dragonsmeade Griffin, with our exceptional Axios daughters. One standout match was with Moxie, the only full sister to Dragonsmeade Kept Secret GCH, and Dragonsmeade Dark ‘N Stormy—all out of our highly successful foundation mare, Simply Apropos. The result of this deliberate pairing, Griffin and Moxie’s first foal, Halcyon, has absolutely exceeded our expectations.

We were excited to try the cross that produced this beautiful black filly!  Heartstrings is one of the exotic debut Invictus get and out of a maiden Stage Rage daughter we have.  Heartstrings stands out in the field with her swan like neck and gorgeous head.  We are eager to see her grow up!

From the moment Michaela was on the ground she was exotic and refined.  She is coal black and inherited her sire’s curvy and long neck, while also inheriting her dam’s athleticism.  She won her first world championship in classic pleasure driving in 2014!  After her multiple world champion classic pleasure driving career, we are happy to have her back on the farm as a broodmare.  Michaela had a gorgeous black colt for us in 2022!

Phil is a wonderful combination of his sire, Icon, and his dam, JW Gay Paree!  He has type and quality!  We are excited to see him grow up!

We are happy to have Crush in our 2015 foal crop! He is the first foal out of Royal Treatment by Icon and we are happy with him! He has a very similar look to his World Champion sire and we see a bit of Trophy in his look too! He is hot, hot, and smart! We wish Claudia Cokis much success with Crush! We can’t wait to cheer for both of you!

Ibarra’s dam, Simply Apropos, routinely had foals with a lot of quality so we are happy to have another daughter in our foundation brood mare herd. Ibarra was one of the best foals from the 2006 season. She is one of the most important mares in our breeding program.  Tequila has had three colts by Dragonsmeade Icon, another colt and two fillies by Dragonsmeade Axios.

Once and a lifetime horse… he is forever missed.

When we bred our world champion producer, Cedar Creek Pirouette, to our multiple World Champion Dragonsmeade Icon, one of our “dream crosses” is now checked! Pirouette is the dam of world champions Dragonsmeade Fusion, Dragonsmeade’s Infusion, and Dragonsmeade Belle du Jour so breeding her to our HVK Bell Flaire line bred stallion, Icon, would be an obvious choice.  Colin is every bit as handsome as we envisioned…. He is big, leggy, and his shoulder has the perfect angle.
