Dragonsmeade First Light

We liked Midori’s filly by Axios so much we repeated the cross for a 2018 foal.  Nemo couldn’t be more different than his full sister Dragonsmeade Love Note!  He has a lot of chrome and he is extreme while she has no white and is typey.  Both are lovely!  Nemo is in training at Memory Lane, and we are excited to see him grow up!

Dragonsmeade First Night

Since Jubilee was born he’s been a star!  He has a lot of personality, and he also thinks well of himself.  He started his show career off well for us winning the 2011 World Champion Classic Pleasure Driving Jr. class and the Grand National Classic Pleasure Driving Four Year Old class.  We sold him to the Richard Hansing family for Lilly Hansing to show.  Together, this fabulous team has gone on and surpassed all expectations!  We are cheering for them every step of the way!

Dragonsmeade Full Spectrum

We are so happy with Dragonsmeade Alinea that we repeated the cross between Donatella and Hollybrook Stage Rage. Scotty is a refined and flashy Morgan who has a good mind. He has been easy to train.  His confirmation is correct, and he has a lot of quality. Scotty and Ling made their debut at 2020 Blue Ridge Classic, and they have continued to win in the very competitive western division.

Dragonsmeade Fusion

We have been thrilled with Fusion. He is a true park horse in every sense and he commands attention every time he enters the ring. He is one of the best horses we’ve bred. Among his many regional championships all over the country Fusion is the 2007 World Champion in the Amateur Park Harness division and is also the 2008 Reserve World Champion in Open Park Harness.  We have been lucky to have him sire two colts and one filly for our farm.  He has proven to be an excellent sire.  Jr. is one of our family favorites!

Dragonsmeade Gin Fizz

We are so happy to have Gin Fizz in our fields!  He is out of our favorite lines we have on our farm!  This colt is big and fancy, and we can’t wait to see what he will do when he goes to training.

Dragonsmeade Ginger Snap

We are thrilled with the first foal out of Dragonsmeade Tammany Hall! Emma’s registered name is perfect for her. She is smart, and she is spicey. Emma has a similar neck and silhouette to her sire, and she is also similar in look to her maternal grandsire Beethoven.

Dragonsmeade Grace

When one looks through Grace’s pedigree, they will see all the horses that Dragonsmeade is built upon.  Ones our family has known and appreciated during our many years in the Morgan community.  Given that she is by Dragonsmeade Axios and out of one of our Bocelli daughters she was bred to produce foals.  The Axios and the Bocelli daughters are proven producers.  After Grace showed during her junior years the plan is to breed her to one of our stallions for the 2022 breeding season.  She is on the list to cross her to Dragonsmeade Spectre for 2022.

Dragonsmeade Grace Note

We are so happy to have a full sister to Dragonsmeade Indochine!  Emily is almost identical as she trots through the fields with the rest of the 2018 girls.  We can’t wait to see her grow up!

Dragonsmeade Griffin

We liked our filly by JW Standing Tall so much we decided to cross Dragonsmeade Icon’s oldest full sister to him for the 2020 foaling season.  The resulting foal is Griffin!  We are hopeful he will be able to remain a stallion so we can infuse his bloodlines back into several of our mare’s pedigress.  Regardless, his future at our farm is exciting!

Dragonsmeade Hereafter

From the moment Michaela was on the ground she was exotic and refined.  She is coal black and inherited her sire’s curvy and long neck, while also inheriting her dam’s athleticism.  She won her first world championship in classic pleasure driving in 2014!  After her multiple world champion classic pleasure driving career, we are happy to have her back on the farm as a broodmare.  Michaela had a gorgeous black colt for us in 2022!
