Bell Song is an extraordinary daughter we have out of our foundation brood mare Simply Apropos and by one of our favorite stallions HVK Bell Flaire. She had a short, but very sweet show career that started with her winning the 2002 $13,000 Futurity at Far West Regional with 16 quality yearlings competing. For her only appearance in 2003, she added a Reserve World Champion Futurity Two Year Old mare title to her record. Bell Song has now entered our foundation broodmare herd. She had a beautiful filly by Beethoven and two gorgeous fillies by Dragonsmeade Axios.

Bridget is the full sister to World Champions Dragonsmeade Fusion and Dragonsmeade’s Infusion. She is nearly identical in look and temperament. She’s already had a beautiful foal by the Hochstetler’s beautiful stallion Queens Glory Days! We wish them the best of luck!

Belle Nuit is one of our dream crosses.  A breeder who knows classic bloodlines can see her pedigree is rich with Morgan potentency.  She is the last foal out of our dynamic grand dam Simply Apropos.  Her dam has produced many daughters who have gone on to produce many grand world champion foals themselves.  Most notably, Dragonsmeade Spectre, Dragonsmeade Kept Secret and Dragonsmeade Dark N Stormy.  As she is sired by multi world champion Dragonsmeade Icon she is a rare gem among very few daughters he sired.  We have a gorgeous 2021 filly out of her by multi world champion Dragonsmeade Axios.  She is open for 2022 breeding season.

We are thrilled to have a full brother to Axios and Own The Night! While his brothers are jet black Ben has a small star and white fetlock. He is as refined and beautiful as all of Obi’s foals.  Ben already has multiple world championships added during his stellar show career!

Blitzkrieg is a cool horse!  He is very talented and he seems to have his pedigree’s spice!

Bon Jovi looks very similar to his three quarter brother Dragonsmeade Well Suited.  The cross between Dragonsmeade Icon and Dragonsmeade Spectre bred to Dragonsmeade Axios lines are golden.  Bon Jovi is a handsome representative of his pedigree.  We are eager to see him mature.  Until then, he will enjoy life playing out in the field with his peers.

DiNozzo is the first foal Wisteria has had for us, and we could not be any more happy with him!  He is long legged and long necked with a lot of hinge.  Since he is smooth and sleek in a dark coat we have decided to register him as Dragonsmeade Bond.

Bravura won his first world championship as a three year old after he had only showed very infrequently on the West coast. This large world champion Futurity classic pleasure driving three year old class was deep with beautiful horses. He was a pro! Bravura won his second large and competitive world championship in 2007, and he has since won multiple regional and world champion titles for several owners.  He is now owned by Brenda Varney, and we wish her many more victory passes on Micky!

Sadly, we lost HVK Dragon Fly to a ruptured uterus when By Design was hours old.  We were happy we could have Dragon Fly live on our farm for her last years.  Not only is By Design important because of her genes, she has proven to be one of our best producers at Dragonsmeade. Since her beauty and confirmation are ideal for a Morgan mare her foals are stamped. We’ve crossed her to And The Beat Goes On and Dragonsmeade Axios, and the resulting foals are exotic.
